Habitat: Grows at lower elevations and east throughout the plains. It grows nearly anywhere even in dry areas.

Description:
This tree has become very invasive in Colorado. It grows all over the city of Colorado Springs. Once established it can be very difficult to remove. It grows very rapidly and will come back year after year even if you cut it down to a stump. It can grow to be a huge tree. It was originally planted in areas that were very dry as a shade tree.
