Description:
There are several different currants and gooseberries which grow in our mountains. The Colors can vary from yellow, red to purple. Their flowers can also vary in color including white, yellow, pink and red. The berries are often picked by foragers and sugar added to make jams and jellies. The berries can also be used in salads. Currants can be very abundant in the summer time.
