Habitat: Dry areas in the Pinyon / Juniper belt at lower elevations. These were found in fremont county near the Canon City area.

Color: Green with red hues

Description:
A very small cactus growing on the ground and easily stepped on. There are many similar cactus found throughout the southwest.
