Description:
Rose hips are edible raw, cooked, to make teas, wines, etc. They are an excellent source of Vitamin C. They contain more vitamin C than oranges. They also contain other vitamins as well as antioxidants. Rose hips are best harvested in the fall after they have turned red. Cut them in half and remove the seeds to eat. One of the most abundant edibles you can find in Colorado.
